A dazzling pre-congress!
Camp Tours and study groups
There are going to be many pre-congress study groups and camp tours before ICC 2008. Members of the ICF steering committee, OCA, CCA and ACQ are planning numerous events across our broad nation. So pack your bags and join one of these many tours. Each one of theses events will be educational; fun filled and of course will showcase the beauty and diversity of Canada.
VANCOUVER TO QUEBEC CITY
A number of Australian delegates are already working on plans to travel by train from Vancouver through the Rocky Mountains to Calgary. They will then travel by plane to Toronto where they will travel to camps through out Ontario and then finishing with a number of camps in Quebec. This will not only be an opportunity to see camps across the vast country of Canada, but you will be able to see Canada first hand. This trip is estimated at this time to take ten days.
ONTARIO & QUEBEC
Members of the OCA, ICF and ACQ have already meet to discuss a number of tour options to include a tour of both Ontario and Quebec camps that will leave from Toronto Ontario and travel through Ontario and then into Quebec with the final destination Quebec City. There is also a camp tour planned that will leave from Montreal and highlight Quebec camps on your way to Quebec City.
MARITIMES
Members of the CCA along with the provincial representative of New Brunswick and Nova Scotia are hiring a bus and will travel from Halifax to Quebec City see camps and picking up delegates along the way and take them to Quebec City
